Do you need to port my number in to start the 1-month trial?

The short answer is: no, you don’t have to port the number to our network during the 1-month trial.

Switching to a different phone company is a big decision. We understand your concern. You don’t want any down time. You don’t want anything unexpected to happen. This is why we are offering 1-month free trial. After this 1-month free trial, if you are satisfied with our service, you can port your number to our network. Before you port your number to our network, you will continue to pay your existing phone service provider.

The following is what will happen during the 1-month free trial:
  • We will install and set up the phones for free. If you already have compatible phones, we will reprogram your phones for free.
  • We will install a call server if you opt for an on-premises solution ($15 per month from the 2nd month). You can also go with a hosted solution without a call server so you will save the $15 rental fee.
  • If you have existing extensions, we will program the new phones to have the same extension number. We can also set up ring groups, auto attendants, voice greetings for free.
  • We will program the new phone system so that outgoing calls show your company caller ID. Will you be able to show the company caller ID number before the number is ported? Yes we sure can. We can program the phone system to show any caller ID number.
  • You will forward calls to your company number to a temporary number so that incoming calls will ring at the new system. If you are not satisfied with our service, all you need is stop the call forwarding so you are back to your own system. We are sure you will like your new phone system.
  • This way, you can place calls and show your company caller ID, and receive calls at the new phone system.
  • After a month, if you are satisfied with the new phone system, we will port your number to our network. The porting process is seamless. You will not experience any down time.
  • After the porting is completed, you will cancel your existing phone service enjoy the new low rates.
